Hello, I'm

Sakshina Bhatt
Social Impact Consultant & Program Manager

I have 9 years of driving evidence-based impact across global health, economic development, and social policy. I've led complex research portfolios at university-affiliated centers, a multilateral org, and impact-first consulting firms. My work spans maternal & child health, agriculture, nutrition, workforce development, and service delivery for welfare programs.

My experience sits at the intersection of rigorous evidence and real-world program design. I've managed a multimillion-dollar federally-funded initiative linking complex health records to track intergenerational health outcomes, and executed impact evaluations for programs in low-and-middle-income countries. Over time, I've developed expertise in conducting cost-effectiveness analyses, mixed-methods research, and communicating academic findings into actionable strategy for government agencies and philanthropic partners.

I'm passionate about applying these skills to accelerate social impact — whether through implementation research, program evaluation, or strategic advisory & technical assistance work that helps organizations allocate resources where they matter most.

NIH-funded record linkage across 30M+ Medicaid claims

Led end-to-end program management of a first-of-its-kind NIH-funded initiative (R01MD013844) to design and deploy a record-linking algorithm across 30M+ Medicaid claims spanning 2011–19, enabling longitudinal tracking of maternal-child health outcomes across multiple states.

Managed the full project lifecycle: scoped the technical approach with data scientists, negotiated data use agreements with federal agencies, coordinated with Stanford's IRB and compliance infrastructure, and translated the PIs' research vision into a delivery plan with milestones and timelines. Built cross-institutional partnerships with CMS-adjacent data organizations and other Stanford research centers to identify downstream use cases for the linked datasets.
